If you are new to photography, do not chase random tips. Use a short structured plan where each day has one skill focus.
Week 1: Control attention
- Day 1: Subject isolation with negative space
- Day 2: Leading lines
- Day 3: Symmetry and centered framing
- Day 4: Rule of thirds with one subject
- Day 5: Foreground framing
- Day 6: Light direction (front, side, back)
- Day 7: Review your best 5 shots
Week 2: Control story
- Day 8: Texture close-ups
- Day 9: Human scale in environment
- Day 10: Motion and timing
- Day 11: Color contrast
- Day 12: Minimal scene editing
- Day 13: One-location photo series
- Day 14: Compare Day 1 vs Day 14 and note improvements
How to review progress
At the end of each session, score the photo from 1 to 5 on:
- Clarity of subject
- Composition strength
- Visual distractions
The score is less important than consistency of review.
